Artist biography

Have you ever seen old Soviet greeting cards? “They are bright and they have many flowers. I had a safe at home with old photos and a bunch of greeting cards like this. The safe was not locked. I carried postcards and copied flowers from them. I gave these watercolor pictures to my mother, who put them in a bookcase. It was my artistic world in Tomsk, a small Siberian town, during perestroika. Moreover, an art studio in the House of Pioneers. I was born in 1982.” - These are memories from Irina's childhood.
